Cheating on God?     1 Comments
Every time we sin, we are in essence cheating on God. Instead of loving Him with all of our heart, mind, and soul; we end up pleasing the Devil by rejecting God's commandments and falling into sin... and so often we make excuses for ourselves, and do not realize how damaging sin is to our relationship with Him.

Satan Runs Faster     1 Comments
We all have areas of failure, whether it is noticeable by others or not. We all fall short of the glory of God, and fall to temptations. And it seems that Satan is right there, continuously telling us that we "cannot defeat him."

Love the Lord Your God     1 Comments
Today we have invented many different meanings of the word love, associating it with food, with crushes, and even sports teams... but real love is so much more, and so much harder... yet God tells us the greatest commandment is to love Him with all of our heart, all of our soul, and all of our mind...

"Clawing" God
As Christians it is extremely easy to find the flaws in others, but so many times we forget to examine ourselves...

God, Are You Listening?     3 Comments
Have you ever prayed to God for something, only to be left wondering if God was even listening?

Forgiving Your "Dr. Mengele"     1 Comments
I think in almost everyone's life, there is at least one person you absolutely do not want to forgive. One person who has said something, or done something to you or someone very close...

Where did God Go???     1 Comments
Sometimes we feel out of touch with God, or we look at all of the terrible things happening in the world and ask how a loving God could let them happen... sometimes we wonder if God is really keeping His promises, and if He is still even there...

Be Peculiar?     4 Comments
God calls for us to be "peculiar," a word that means to be odd, unique, eccentric... but in the same way light becomes peculiar in the dark...

My Signigicant Other     1 Comments
Sometimes it seems our relationship with God is at a stand still, that we're not improving, or that God's just not there for us... sometimes it's easy for us to feel like giving up and moving on...

A Bible Sluggard     7 Comments
Are you someone who reads the Bible daily and takes time out of their day to focus on God, or are you someone who struggles to include God in your everyday life?

When Satan Lies     2 Comments
Today the Bible seems to be in question as people argue what Jesus said and what He didn't, what we should follow today, and even the Bible's stance on subjects such as polygamy... Eerily, a very similar questioning took place many many years ago.

A Christ-in Attitude
As Christians we need to be mindful of our attitudes, and careful to make sure that we reflect Christ in all things.

Crucifying Racism     2 Comments
Today's devotion is not one of political correctness, or even one of encouragement... instead today we need to take a serious look at our own views, and how we perceive others. While racism is not something we like to talk about, or even think about, it is something that we can ALL fall victim to...

Battle My Nature     4 Comments
As Christians we are constantly reminded of our old nature by sinful thoughts and desires, however, to be true followers of Christ we need to "pick up our cross daily" and follow Christ's example...

God's Image Reflected     3 Comments
We were made in the image of God, our Great Creator, and our Savior; but is that the image you reflect throughout the day...

1 John 1:10
[10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

John 14:15
[15] If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Matthew 22:37-38
[37] Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment.

James 4:7
[7] Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Romans 5:8-10
[8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
