With the clock counting down, I could only sit watching for a miracle comeback... yet the comeback was nowhere in sight.

When things seem to be going badly, we often wonder where God is, and if He is really going to keep His promises. The truth is, God not only keeps His promises, but does it in a way that is more amazing and wonderful than we could ever imagine... even if at the moment it seems He has completely forgotten about us...

With so many challenges in life, it is very easy for us to want to take charge and try to handle everything ourselves, but in the end we find ourselves worse off, and crying for the Help of the Lord, who is always faithful...

Everyday you see athletes boasting about what they can do, and how their opponents can't stop them... and yet you often find them on the front page of the paper the very next day being made a fool of... mostly by their own words. But conceit isn't limited to athletics, but is something that everyone must face every single day...

When we look at things, we often see what they currently are, and not what they can be. The same holds true for people, but God is able to take even below freezing temperatures and make them into something beautiful...

Have you ever felt like no one understands you, or that you are all alone? Have you ever wondered what to do next, or even if it was worth the struggle?

Have you ever prayed to God for something, only to be left wondering if God was even listening?

Sometimes we feel out of touch with God, or we look at all of the terrible things happening in the world and ask how a loving God could let them happen... sometimes we wonder if God is really keeping His promises, and if He is still even there...

With gas prices around $4 a gallon, foreclosures on the rise, and the price of necessities such as food and electricity increasing, many families are struggling to survive. Struggling to keep food on the table, and a roof over their heads... and some families are at the breaking point, a point where they are waiting for the final notice on their home. A point where they are asking "how a loving God could let this happen..."

As Christians we consistently fail to meet God's expectations, and even our own. And more often then not, the more we fail, the less we think of ourselves and what God is doing through us...

Living like a Christian is easier said than done... especially in the world we live in today. Filled with temptation and opportunities, we find ourselves failing again and again...
