Shepherd's Chapel Belief Comparison

Our Belief Shepherd's Chapel Belief
The Bible is the Word of God We believe the Holy Bible to be the Word of God. We believe in its History, Covenants, and Prophecy.
There is one God Believed to be in agreeance, however this item is unknown at the time.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are 3 in one There are not three personages of the Trinity, but rather one personage (God the Father) who holds three offices (changing from the Father, to the Son, to the Spirit, and back again [also known as modalism]).
Man was created in the Image of God We believe in the Bible account of Creation based on Genesis chapters 1 and 2.
Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ (life, death, and resurrection) and not by our works We believe salvation is by grace through faith, and it is the gift of God, and not of works.
All who believe in Christ become Children of God All that become saved through faith become children of God and obtain everlasting life.
As Christians we are to abide by the standards set in the Holy Bible We believe that each person read and abide by the Bible and its teachings.
No man can contradict/ edit the Word of God Believed to be in agreeance, however this item is unknown at the time.

Notes: Shepherd's Chapel, an indpendent church pastored by Arnold Murray also offers Bible studies through their daily television broadcast and online. However, very little is known about Arnold Murray and the overall theological ideas of his church. Many of his teachings have been greatly questioned by leading theologians and past viewers world wide.

While we are researching his teachings more indepth, we strongly suggest viewing the Shepherd's Chapel articles on CARM, and if participating in his studies, doing so with extreme caution.

Status: this article is undisputed.
