Salvation is received by faith in Jesus Christ (life, death, and resurrection) and not by our works "For believers in Christ the sacraments... are necessary for salvation because they confer sacramental grace, forgiveness of sins... [1] Baptism is necessary for salvation...[for all] who have had the possibility of asking for this sacrament. [2]" - The Compendium, [1] # 230, page 69; [2] #261, page 79.
All who believe in Christ become Children of God "The baptized who do not enjoy full Catholic unity are in a certain, although imperfect, communiion with the Catholic [meaning universal] church." - The Compendium, #168, page 48
As Christians we are to abide by the standards set in the Holy Bible The Sacred Texts are authored by God Himself, and as such should be followed and obeyed.
No man can contradict/ edit the Word of God "The Pope may proclaim by a definitive act a doctrine pertaining to faith or morals... Everyone of the faithful must adhere to such teachings with obedience of faith." - The Compendium, #185, page 52

Notes:

* We only recognize 66 books of the Bible: 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. As such, even though the Roman Catholic Church recognizes these books, the addition of other books forces us to state that they use a different standard as God's Word.

Status: this article is undisputed.
