I think one of the hardest parts of growing up was being a teenager... I remember coming home after school absolutely exhausted, and no sooner then I had plopped down on the couch to watch TV, my parents had found something for me to do.

"Have you done your homework? Did you take out the Garbage? Take care of the Dog..." The list would go on and on. Now please do misunderstand me, because I was blessed with two of the greatest parents in the world (I might be a little biased), but I think this is something every teenager can relate to. In fact, something all of us can relate to. No matter how much we do, or how much we try... there is always sooo much more that needs to be done. And there's no way we can do it!!!

One of my parents favorite sayings (when I was in trouble) was, "Do you want to make it until your next birthday?"

And to be honest, there were days I wasn't sure... because everything seemed to be too much. I remember how frustrated I would get during school, and sometimes how lost I would feel. Even today I have moments where I look at what I need to do, what I need to accomplish, and I wonder how I am going to be able to do that.

And the answer is, I'm not able to do all that needs to be done. I am not able to do all that God expects me to do... not by myself. But just like when I was a teenager in high school, I'll somehow make it... somehow I will accomplish what I am suppose to... because God is with me, just as he is with you; every step we take.
