Sinking like the Titanic

We all face problems, challenges, and difficulties... and sometimes no matter how hard we try to find the answers; no matter how hard we try to stay afloat... we find ourselves sinking like the Titanic.

My "Vehicle"

Do you pay more attention to the car, or to the driver? In other words, are you focusing more on your outer appearances, than you are your inner?

Test Everything

On the internet you can find a wide range of ideas about how Christians are suppose to live. These ideas range from extreme conservatism, to extreme liberalism... but how do you know which of these are right?

Power through Serving Others?

Everyday we watch Actors, Models, Presidents, and Kings rule the screen of Televisions everywhere. And everyday we see how they are treated like royalty, and with respect. And we too, want that respect. We want to become the Greatest of Men... but fail to realize that the Greatest are really those who are serving others... not the ones being served.

I Love You... I think

Everyday we see the word "love," one of the most abused words in the dictionary. People tell us how much they love this, or love that, or even love each other... but what does love really mean, or should we say, what is love?

You're Being Unreasonable!

Have you ever had an argument with someone, and told them they are being "Unreasonable?" Do you walk away from arguments frustrated? Do you really listen to what the other person is saying?

Sin Is In!?

In today's world there are a lot of things that are now Socially Acceptable, but are they Acceptable to God?

Judge, Executioner, or Rehab. Officer?

Why did Jesus come to this world? Did he come to show us all our flaws and failures? Did he come to Judge Us? Or did he come to bring Mercy and Rehabilitation?

Church???

Church, a wonderful institution of sitting and doing nothing right? On top of that, you have to miss half of the football game? So what is the big deal about Church anyways?

I don't know what God wants me to do!?

What is my purpose? What is God calling me to do? What can I do to serve him, and fulfill that what he has created me for???

Christian or Christ-In?

Are people going to say you're a "Christian," or are they going to exclaim you're someone who has Christ-In them?

Don't Blink!

Today is the 6th year anniversary of the September 11th World Trade Center attacks, a day filled with loss, and that was completely unexpected. Today's devotion is based on remembrance of those who have passed, and on remembering those who are still in our lives today.

Too Much to Do!!!

Everyday things are added to our already busy schedule... no matter how hard we try it seems like we just cannot accomplish what we are suppose to. What does the Bible say about this?
